There is also a lot on offer in the area of culture. Over and above events from the Tourism & Events Service in the Dr. Stammberger Halle (Civic Centre) and at the Plassenburg Castle, the specialist area of Education and Culture regularly holds art exhibitions, readings and similar events in the gallery of the Badhaus in the Oberhacken 34. Special exhibitions also take place regularly in the Deutsches Zinnfigurenmuseum (GermanTin Figure Museum) at the Plassenburg Castle. Every year from July to September, the Association of Franconian Artists shows outstanding works by artists from Franconia or those with connections to Franconia. More details can be found on the website of the Plassenburg Castle. Tradition and customs are upheld by the Arbeitskreis Kulmbacher Heimatvereine (working group of Kulmbach clubs for local traditions and customs) which holds its Kulmbach Evening to celebrate the "Tag der Heimat" (homecoming day) in the Stadthalle (Civic Centre).
